Taking over support from their incumbent development agency, SixBySix were required to replace, improve and optimise existing functionality, including custom third party and in-house modules, in addition to delivering new features and integrations.

Our Approach.


SixBySix provided a dedicated project and support service team to EWMG, as part of a collaborative approach to understand key business requirements and focusing on maximising ROI.

  • Working closely with the different brands’ teams and multiple third parties, we adapted and focused resource based on multiple priorities and deadlines.

Special Price Scheduler

To support EWMG’s dynamic marketing activity, we developed a custom module to facilitate the management, and application of special price adjustments.

Special price adjustments can be automated via a bespoke scheduling system, and with full integration into Magento’s indexing framework the module ensures accurate frontend pricing throughout all aspects of the customer journey.

Scheduling changes are easy to apply via a simple CSV format and custom admin interfaces were built to provide full visibility of upcoming pricing changes.

Akeneo integration

Akeneo PIM Integration / ResourceSpace DAM

SixBySix oversaw the integration of the opensource Akeneo PIM and ResourceSpace DAM with Magento 1 & 2, ensuring that the platforms worked in tandem according to a predefined workflow.

Utilising APIs and scheduled CRON jobs we created a process that allows EWMG to centralise their product data, merchandise products, and automatically link product imagery. This in turn allows for that central product data view to be passed to multiple consuming systems.

TLOGS

A project to refactor, and consolidate the functionality from similar versions of a stand alone business critical reporting application into a single portable Magento module that could be utilised across all EWMG Ecommerce brands.

In addition to the consolidation of the applications logic, custom reporting, and notification frameworks were layered into the module to provide EWM with full visibility of the complete transaction log lifecycle – from log creation within Magento to log integration into EWM’s ERP System.

Promotional Flag Manager

EWMG tasked us with building a bespoke module to provide their in-house Product Merchandise team with the functionality to upload and assign promotional images, known as flags, in bulk across products.

We developed a custom import interface within the Magento Admin panel that allows these flags to be administered via a simple CSV format. Multiple promotional flags can be assigned to a single product, with the ability to specify a visible date range, and z-index position.

The outcome of this project was the saving of multiple hours of manual admin work freeing up time internally for more important marketing tasks.

Faceted Navigation Extension

Out of the box Magento allows the merchant to control an attribute’s presence within the faceted navigation at a global level. We developed a module to provide EWMG with more granular control, allowing the visibility of attributes to be managed at the category level providing an improved customer navigation experience.

flexecash payment gateway

Flexecash Payment Gateway

Flexecash (Love2Shop) is the UK’s number 1 multi-retailer gift card and voucher. We built a custom integration into the Flexecash platform that enables customers to make purchases via their points balances.

For a complete customer experience, the customer account portal was extended to display Flexecash balance information, and refunds are supported via Magento’s native credit memo functionality.

OrderFlow Fulfillment Integration

We are the Magento 1 & 2 module creator for OrderFlow (formerly RealTime Despatch) since 2016. New product data is passed to OrderFlow and in return receives a stock assignment from matching SKUs. Orders are sent to OrderFlow which in turn is managed by the warehouse fulfillment teams. Stock inventory passed back regularly to Magento throughout the day.

Bespoke customisations have been made to the EWMG version of their OrderFlow module to allow for additional features such as auto-refunds and Click & Collect updates.
